In Lords of the Fallen, you may have problems navigating the game area due to the lack of a widely available map. On this page of the guide, we explain when you find maps, how to examine the collected map and what types of hints it contains, as well as whether it is possible to attach a mini-map to the corner of the screen.

How to find maps in the game world?

1. Maps are one of the types of quest items found as loot in the game.
2. Look around the game world for shiny objects - the picture shows an example. These may include, among others: items with "map" in their name.

How to view a map?

1. All collected maps are moved to the Quests tab in the inventory, where other story items also appear. However, you cannot view the maps there because the option to view them does not appear in the drop-down menu.
2. You need to go to the Journal tab. You can switch between the collected maps there.
3. There are no classic maps in Lords of the Fallen that would provide a detailed view of the entire area and include interactive markers. Maps are actually sketches of various locations. Treat them as hints only, not as an active navigation tool. By viewing the sketch, you can find out what locations are connected to each other or what unique places ca be found (e.g. a big tree).

Is there a minimap?

1. The game does not offer any form of minimap - it cannot be displayed on the screen, nor does it appear in any menu windows.
2. You must remember important places and passages on your own. The game displays the names of the main areas when you enter them (example in the image). Vestiges, i.e. locations associated with rest and fast travel, may be of some help. Each place of this type has its own unique name.
