Accidents Happen is a shorrt quest for Ryujin Industries from the game Starfield. The walkthrough in our guide tells you how to get to the ship in HopeTech and how to plant the APU device while remaining undetected.

Accidents Happens is another quest received from Ryujin Industries, a major faction in the world of Starfield with its own, unique quest line. Our walkthrough shows how to infiltrate HopeTech in Hopetown and how to install ARC Device without being detected by guards.

Unlocking the quest

1. This quest for Ryujin Industries is the next in line after Sowing Discord quest - you can visit the dedicated page of our guide if you want to view the walkthrough for it.
2. Interact with Imogen to receive the ARC Device which is the key item in this task.

Installing ARC Device in HopeTech

1. This is another Ryujin INdustries quest that requires a visit to Hopetown. As a reminder, the settlement is on planet Polvo, in Valo system.
2. Head to HopeTech building. Once in the premises, travel to a large hall at the back of the building where a spaceship is under construction. Take a closer look at the ship - you'll find the entrance to it at one of the side walls (screenshot above).

1. Once inside, look for a ladder which will take you to the right deck. Crouch and check if you're in stealth mode. If you are, the installation of the ARC Device will be possible (Access Point marked with a blue icon - screenshot). Watch out for a guard - wait for him to leave the post or turn the other side.
2. Once the installation is complete, you can return to Imogen. This will conclude the quest, and you'll be rewarded with XP, 2,500 credits and a Cob-X consumable. Additionally, you'll unlock a new quest - Maintaining the Edge.
