You can confront your fifth alien queen in Aliens Dark Descent during mission 8 on the Tantalus research station. This page of the guide will explain where to find the Queen's lair in Basement 1, how to prepare for the fight, how to defeat the Queen and what rewards you can receive.

Where is the Queen's lair underneath the Tantalus research station?
- Late into mission 8 you'll take an elevator down to Basement 1 and take on the main quest to find Cassandra, that is, figure out where she's being held.
- Your marines, while heading south, will pass by an optional room to the west. You can unlock it by interacting with the terminal, which immediately triggers the fight.
Make sure you're prepared before facing the Queen. We recommend setting up turrets - in the corridor and by the eastern room's door. You can also lay down mines to the north and south of the corridor to delay regular xenomorphs.
How to kill the Xenomorph Queen in mission 8?
- Upon opening the door, start firing at the Queen (use something poweful, like a rocket or grenade launcher).
- Don't enter the lair, as it's full of Facehugger eggs. The room is small and they can easily get your marines.
- Retreat to the corridor, that is, the place where you've set up the turrets. Order supressive fire to slow down the Queen and prevent her from charging. If you need to, run to the side of the corridor or the nearby room to avoid being knocked down.
- Keep draining the boss' health bar. After defeating her, take your time dealing with the Facehuggers. Loot the Queen's corpse to find 8 xenosamples and a Xenotech blueprint.
