Where is the lair of the second queen?

1. Another alien queen lair will be encountered during the course of Mission 2 taking place in Berkley's Docks.
2. One of the main objectives of the mission is to reach Hangar C and the queen is inside of it.

Your marines will report noticing the queen after entering Hangar C, but will not start the fight immediately. You can use the break to prepare as shown below.

Preparations

Before you begin the battle, we recommend getting rid of xenomorphs from earlier warehouses. Among them are, for example, sleeping drones.

1. If you already have a silenced sniper rifle and a soldier that can operate it, you can eliminate them quietly - we describe sniping in more detail on the page "How to use the sniper rifle?".
2. In case you don't have a sniper rifle, consider using the grenade launcher to eliminate any drones with a single shot.

Approach and place your squad at one of two entrances to Hangar C and:

1. Place at least 1 Sentry Gun there - point it towards the door.
2. Place at least one mine - place it as close to the door as possible.

Additionally, before starting the battle, check the health status and ammunition supply of all marines in the team. If your squad suffers from high stress, consider finding a shelter somewhere.

How to defeat the queen in Hangar C?

1. Start the battle with firing at the queen from as large distance as possible, so you have a headstart.
2. Don't set up or fight in Hangar C itself, as nearby there are facehugger eggs which when hatched can cause a serious threat.
3. Instead, set up in the previous room.

1. Wait for the queen to approach your position - she should detonate the mines you've planted in the entrance and get under fire of Sentry Guns which you've deployed. Additionally use offensive skills such as U1 Grenade Launcher.
2. Remember that the queen has a charge attack and in case of one, quickly move to a side.
3. After defeating the queen, collect xenosamples - you'll additionally unlock a new Xenotech project to research in the laboratory. Carefully approach the nesting area and eliminate any left facehuggers from a distance.
