We have learned the release date of the first expansion for Remnant 2, titled The Awakened King. The DLC about the mad king will be released in 2 weeks.
To the acclaimed representative of the soulslike genre - Remnant 2 - will soon feature the first of many planned expansions. Studio Gunfire Games has announced that theThe Awakened King expansion will be released on November 14, this year. By the way, a trailer has hit the web (below), announcing the expansion.
The expansion will be kept in an extremely dark tone. In addition, the game's official website reveals some details about what The Awakened King will offer.
- In the DLC, we will discover the secrets of the titular king called the One True One, who has descended into madness and paranoia.
- The adventure will take us to new locations, including the ominous ruler's castle, as well as numerous dungeons.
- Along with The Awakened King the game will receive a new character archetype - the ritualist. He will specialize in imposing negative statuses on enemies.
- The expansion will introduce unprecedented terrifying opponents - including bosses. Fortunately, we will be able to count on the help of friendly characters.
- In addition, the DLC will offer a ton of new weapons, modifications, rings and amulets.
The Awakened King is priced at $9.99 US. Those who purchased the Ultimate edition of Remnant 2, will receive access to the DLC at no additional cost.
