What is Chemistry?
In EA Sports FC 24, Chemistry is a major factor when it comes to the achievements and capabilities of your players - it influences how well they will fare during matches. The maximum Chemistry of a team in Ultimate Team mode is 33 points.
Individual players may have from 0 to 3 Player Chemistry, and the resulting bonus affects various attributes. It is worth noting that when a player has 0 Player Chemistry, his attributes will be at the same level as seen on his/her player card.
How to increase chemistry?
In EA FC 24's Ultimate Team mode, you can increase Chemistry in a few different ways:
- Position on the pitch - the key is the right placement of players on the pitch, for example, strikers should play as strikers, midfielders should be in the middle of the field, and fullbacks in the defense line. A different position from the one preferred by the given player affects Chemistry negatively. It is worth adding that in EA FC 24 players can have more than one preferred position on the pitch, which allows some freedom when setting up the formation. Additionally, you no longer have to use Position Change cards to change the position of a player.
- Relations with other players - depending on the number of players/female players that have some connection e.g. same club, league, or nationality, you can get 1 to 3 Chemistry from each player.
- Managers - every player representing the same nationality or league as the manager, receives 1 Chemistry. You cannot get an extra point (2 in total) if both requirements (nationality and league) are met.
- Special Cards: FUT Icons and Champions always have full chemistry when playing in their preferred positions on the pitch. Icons add 1 point of league chemistry, while Champions add 1 Chemistry point for players of the same nationality and 2 points for players of the same league.
