Confrontation with Scratch

1. The Scratch is a dark creature, which assumed the image of Alan Wake trying to trick the main characters and pretending to be the writer.

1. The first direct confrontation with Scratch takes place during Return 6, when playing as Saga. After the conversation in the Bright Falls Sheriff's Office Jail, Scratch will reveal his true identity and you will start a confrontation with the monster.

How to turn on the generators and drive away the boss?

1. Right after the duel begins, turn around and retreat to the police station parking lot. This will give you a much larger field of action than the narrow corridor of a prison.
2. You can start shooting at the boss right away, because unlike regular Taken, you don't have to remove his dark shield first. Use the best weapons in your inventory first, such as the pump-action shotgun or hunting rifle.

1. Scratch aims to close the distance and may suddenly appear next to Saga. Dodge in response to his attempts to catch the heroine and his swings with melee weapon (usually a series of two).

2. Turning on all 3 generators in the parking lot will automatically display a cut-scene of Scratch being driven away. You won't manage to defeat him once and for all, but the encounter will come to an end and you will unlock the Filled with Rage trophy.
