Where Hope is Built is a short task for the Free Star Collective. In the walkthrough we have included information about repairing Nii Kalu's ship and fighting the bandits.

In Starfield, you can join the Freestar Rangers. Where Hope is Built is the second mission you have to do for this faction. On this guide page, we write how to repair Nia's ship, defeat bandits, and meet with Ron Hope.

Starting the task

1. After completing the Deputized mission (described in our guide), you must return to Akila and talk to Daniel Blake. After reading the slate you obtained in the previous mission, the man instructs you to travel to the Valo system, to the planet Polvo.
2. Go to the orbit of this planet. You need to approach Nia Kalu's ship and dock to it.

Meet with Nia and repairing the ship

1. Find and talk to Nia Kalu - the woman is on the first floor of the ship.
2. You must repair the ship by interacting with the appropriate ship parts. The first one is at the end of the first floor, the second one is at the very bottom, and the last one is at the entrance to your ship.
3. Return to Nia and leave the ship.

Defeat bandits

1. Head to the orbit of Miatha's moon (still in the Valo system) and destroy three bandit ships. While their health won't be full when you start fighting them, it's worth using or upgrading a more powerful ship than the Frontier.
2. After defeating the bandits, go to the Hope town on the planet Polvo.

Visit Hope

1. In Hope, enter the HopeTech building. Talk to Nia and follow her to Ron Hope's office.
2. After talking to Ron and Nia again, the mission will be completed. You will receive XP and 9,300 credits.
