Alan's arrival at the Dark Place

1. The story titled Initiation, associated with Alan, will begin inside the Talk-Show Studio with empty inventory. Then it is not a problem yet, because in the TV studio you will not encounter any opponents and there is no danger to the hero there.
2. The problem of lack of weapons and other equipment will become real only after hitting the streets of New York - this is a dark version of the city, for which the Dark Place is responsible. Obtaining weapons and the flashlight should become your priority.

Finding the revolver and the flashlight

1. Explore the western part of the map. There you will find a small staircase, which you can use to go down to the Alley shown in the pictures above. Take the alley and go west.

1. About halfway there, Alan will meet Alex Casey - you must listen to the conversation with this character.

1. Finish your journey to the end of the alley where you will meet a dying Alex Casey who has been attacked by the Dark Place.
2. You have to wait for the end of Casey's speech. Only then will you be able to pick up the revolver and flashlight from the ground - these will become Alan's basic equipment for the foreseeable future.
