The equipment chests in Assassins Creed Mirage will reward you with new weapons and outfits. On this page of the guide we describe how to find all the chests.

Gear Chests are one of the types of collectibles in Assassin's Creed Mirage. They are most often hidden in restricted areas, so you will have to deal with patrolling guards or avoid them to open a chest. They can contain new swords, daggers and outfits for Basim, as well as blueprints for their upgrades. On this page, we describe how to find all the Gear Chests hidden in various regions of Baghdad.

There are 6 gear chests in the Harbiyah region.

1. Chest #1 is located in the Shari district, in the Metal Factory. The chest is on the upper floor of the factory. Inside you will find the Zanj Uprising Sword.

1. Chest #2 is located in the Khuld district, in the Upper Harbor. You will visit this place while helping Beshi free his men during the first Investigation in the game, the search for Ali ibn Muhammad. The chest is on the docked ship, specifically in the back room crammed with boxes. You have to push the boxes to clear your way to the chest - it is on the left side of the door. 1. Chest #3 is located in the Khuld district, on the roof of the Khurasan Gate Guardhouse. You will visit this place to conduct an investigation about Ali ibn Muhammad. Climb onto the roof of the Guardhouse and eliminate both guards. To get to the chest, you first need to smash the vases blocking the boxes. Set the boxes up like in the picture and throw a knife at the vase on the other side to be able to move the box on the right. Thanks to this, you will be able to reach the chest. 1. Chest #4 is located in the Quadrangle of the Persians district, under the main gate of the Damascus Gate Prison. You will visit this place at the end of the investigation related to the search for Ali ibn Muhammad. This investigation will end with detection and escape from prison grounds - if you manage to defeat the guards, you will be able to reach the chest. The doors leading to the room are barricaded, so you must approach from the other side and throw a knife at the door latch. Be careful - there is a heavily armored guard in the room. After unlocking the door, go through it and open the chest. Inside, you will find the Zanj Uprising Sword Upgrade Schematic.

1. Chest #5 is located in the Khuld district, in the Prince's Palace. There is an archer on the high tower by the palace - as long as he lives, you won't be able to scout with the eagle. The chest is located on the ground floor of the palace, in a room, which you will enter through the wide open doors in the internal courtyard. Inside you will find the Zanj Uprising Outfit Upgrade Schematic.

1. Chest #6 is located in the Quadrangle of the Persians district, in the Soap Boiler's District. The guards are on the surrounding roofs and in the courtyard - there are also many explosive barrels and hanging bombs you can use to kill the enemies. Get to the building in the middle of the square and throw the knife at the weakened part of the ceiling above you. Go to the upper floor and open the chest. There are 9 Gear Chests to find in Wilderness.

1. For Chest #1 travel to Dur-Kurigalzu. Start by climbing the local viewpoint and dive to find yourself in a bandit hideout. Defeat all opponents and once its clear, move the large block. You'll reveal a cluttered wall - pick up one of the nearby explosive vases and throw it at the wall. Follow the pathway until you reach a cave where bandits keep their treasure. Defeat all opponents here and open the chest to find Hidden One Dagger.

1. Chest #2 is found in Abandoned Caravanserai. Climb the right wall and move the pushable block to the left. Pick up an explosive vase, and follow the path laid by blocks, ropes, and beams while carrying it until you reach the other side of the inner wall. Throw the brought vase at the cluttered wall to destroy it - the chest is inside. Inside you'll find Hidden One Sword.

1. Chest #3 location is the Water Wheel. Reaching this chest is easy - all you have to do is move the block blocking access to the entrance door to the building. Unfortunately, the chest is locked - use Eagle Vision to locate the key - it will be at the bottom of the river, near the stairs. After retrieving the key, return to the chest and open it - you'll find an Upgrade Schematic for Hidden One Dagger.

1. Chest #4 is found in Anbar, north of the Winter Palace, in a building undergoing repairs. Climb onto the scaffolding and find a note pinned to the wall - in the same location, throw a knife at the latch holding a heavy load above the ground. This will cause an explosion that will destroy the barricade blocking access to the door. Go through the door and open the chest to find an Upgrade Schematic for Hidden One Dagger.

1. Chest #5 is found in Southern Spymaster Camp, which is found south from Jarjaraya. Be careful when tackling this chest - there are a lot of aggresive animals here. There is a heavy load hanging on a protruding branch - climb to this branch and jump to the makeshift tree house. The chest contains an Upgrade Schematic for Hidden One Sword.

1. Chest #6 is found in South Camp, which is north from Jarjaraya. Sidestep left from the entrance gate to the camp until you encounter a pole under the guard tower - climb the pole to be able to cross over the walls. Remove the guard on the tower and another one on the roof. A few enemies guard the chest - consider eliminating them using explosive vases found on the roof. Be careful when attempting this - if your thrown vase hits the roof you're standing on, you may accidentally blow yourself up. The chest contains an Upgrade Schematic for Hidden One Sword.

1. For Chest #7 proceed to Northern Oasis. Dive into the lake and swim through a long tunnel until you reach an underwater chamber with 3 pedestals. To open the gear chest on the left, you need to spend 2 Mysterious Shards. Place them at the pedestals - this will turn off the force field. Inside the chest, you'll find The Samsaama (legendary dagger).

1. Chest #8 is is the same area as Chest #7. Dive into the lake and swim through a long tunnel until you reach an underwater chamber with 3 pedestals. To open the second chest, which is on the right, you need to spend 3 Mysterious Shards. Place them at the pedestals - this will turn off the force field. The chest contains Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar (legendary sword).

1. Chest #9 is another one located in Northern Oasis. Dive into the lake and swim through a long tunnel until you reach an underwater chamber with 3 pedestals. To open the final chest, you need to spend 5 Mysterious Shards. Place them at the pedestals - this will turn off the force field. The chest yields Milad's Outfit (legendary outfit).

1. Chest #1 is on the roof of The Great Bimaristan in the Haylanah district. Start by eliminating the guards stationed on the roof. The door leading to the chest is blocked - get to the other side of the room and throw a knife at the latch barricading the door. Inside the room, move the rack and the chest is yours to plunder. It contains Zanj Uprising Dagger.

1. Chest #2 approximate location is the House of Wisdom in the Yasiryah district. The process of reaching it is a little more complicated than in the case of the remaining chests. We describe the whole process on a separate page of the FAQ chapter (How to get to the chest in the House of Wisdom?). The chest yields Abbasid Knight Sword.

1. Chest #3 is found the Scriptorium in the Yasiryah district. Climb via the outer wall to the roof of the building, then jump to an accessible balcony above the entrance door to the building. Eliminate the lone armored guard inside and loot the chest. Be careful - two more guards may enter the area via the stairs. Inside the chest you'll find an Upgrade Schematic for Abbasid Knight Sword.

1. Chest #4 is found at the bridge linking the Scriptorium and Four Markets in the Suburb of Kahtabah district. To be able to reach and loot the chest, you need to do two things. First, examine the nearby locked door. The key to it is held by a man looking out of a window of a building in the northern end of Four Markets. Sneak behind him via the open window, steal the key, and return to the locked door. Open the door and pick up a explosive vase. Carry it to the back area of the building with the chest and throw it at a cluttered wall.

The chest itself is on an upper floor, which is blocked by an additional cluttered hatch in the ceiling. Go outside, follow the path laid by a cart and beams until you reach a partially open window, and from there, throw a knife at the explosive vases inside. The explosion will clear the clutter. You can now return to the interior and move the rack so you can climb to the upper floor of the building, where you'll find the chest. Inside, there is an Upgrade Schematic for Zanj Uprising Dagger.

1. Chest #5 approximate location is Hammam in the Haylanah district. Once in the area, activate Eagle Vision - you'll locate a window on the right side of the building that can be destroyed. Smash the shutter with your sword and get inside. Smash the vases around the rack and move it, then pick up a revealed explosive vase. While carrying the vase, leave the room, turn left and throw it at the cluttered wall. Enter the newly unlocked room and open the chest. Inside, there is an Upgrade Schematic for Zanj Uprising Dagger.

1. Chest #6 location is Scholar's Estate in Suburb of Kahtabah. The chest requires a key to open - you can find it in a room in the bottom right corner of the mansion. Collect the key and climb on the roof, then move to the upper right corner of the building. There is a cluttered shutter at one of the overgrown roofs. Enter the building via it, move the racks and loot the chest. Inside you'll find an Upgrade Schematic for Abbasid Knight Sword.

1. Chest #1 you can find in Monastery of the Virgins in the Tabik district. After removing the guards, enter the open room in the inner courtyard of the Monastery. Move the rack found inside, go inside an revealed opening and open the chest. The chest contains Abbasid Knight Outfit.

1. Chest #2 is located in Tax Collector's Mansion in the Fief of Rayasanah. Your task is to reach the balcony with a hanging carpet - go through the door to get inside the building and loot the chest. Inside you'll find an Upgrade Schematic for Abbasid Knight Outfit.

1. Chest #3 is in The Bazaar, in the Tabik district. The obvious door to the chest is barricaded. Go to the upper floor of the Bazaar and stand on a balustrade before a large window with a wooden lattice. You should notice a destroyable latch from your position - additionally, you can use Eagle Vision to highlight the object. Go through the newly opened door and open the chest. 1. Chest #4 is found in Officers' Club in the Fief of Rayasanah. You can find it at the back wall of the building (the river side). Remove nearby opponents and loot the chest. Inside you'll find an Upgrade Schematic for Abbasid Knight Outfit.

1. For Chest #5, proceed to The Great Garrison in the Sharqiyah district. You need to climb the walls - the chest is found in a guard post above the gate. You can climb there through a collapsed part of the walls south from your position. Run along the wall, go around the gate, enter it from the north side, break the vase and push the shelf aside . A lone armored guard is inside - kill him and open the chest. Inside you'll find an Upgrade Schematic for Abbasid Knight Dagger.

1. For Chest #6, travel to Qasr Salih in the Sharqiyah district. You can access the walls of the building via a recess in the eastern wall. Sneak to the back area of the mansion and climb to the roof. You need to destroy a cluttered hatch at the very top of the building - for this purpose there are some explosive vases nearby. Climb with one of them to the roof. Be careful - if you are too close to the projected blast, the explosion will injure or even kill you. Jump into the newly opened passage and open the chest. 1. For Chest #1, proceed to Al-Jahiz’s House in the Residential District of Round City. Pick up an explosive vase from the lower roof and climb the boxes with it until you reach the upper roof. Throw the vase at the cluttered hatch and get inside. Descend to the lower floor and loot the chest. Inside the chest you'll find Hidden One Outfit.

1. Chest #2 is found in the highest tower of Mazalim Courts in the Administrative District of Round City. The door leading inside is barricaded, but one of the shutters is vulnerable - use Eagle Vision to locate it. Throw a knife at the shutter and go through it. The chest contains an Upgrade Schematic for Hidden One Outfit.

1. Chest #3 is found in Shurta Headquarters in the Commanders' District in Round City. Circle the building and climb to the roof via a wall that doesn't end with spiky area. Clear the area from enemies to be able to wander freely and open the chest. The chest contains an Upgrade Schematic for Hidden One Outfit.
