During Return 3 in Alan Wake 2, Saga Anderson will reach Kalevala Knights Workshop and you must solve the puzzle revolving around a padlock. In our guide, we will tell you how to determine the combination for the padlock and what attractions and unique treasures are hidden in the newly unlocked workshop room.
Locked break room in the Kalevala Knights Workshop
During the exploration of Watery area in Return 3, Saga Anderson can reach the Kalevala Knights Workshop building, which is adjacent to Coffee World. You will have to solve a mandatory puzzle, which we have described below.
- While exploring the inside of the workshop, you come across a locked door with a padlock. You must solve the puzzle that has you determine the combination of symbols to open the padlock.
How to determin the combination for the padlock?
- A hint about the puzzle can be found on the nearby computer. One of the messages suggests looking for a cup with a smile.
- Explore the southern part of the warehouse, and you will locate the large cup you are looking for.
- You need to stand behind the cup so that when you use the flashlight, you can see 3 symbols, as shown in the screenshot.
- Remember the symbols in order from the highest (1 in our screenshot).
- Return to the padlock and enter the symbols 1, 2, and 3 (starting from the top).
- The main reward for solving the puzzle is unlocking the break room in the workshop.
- In the newly unlocked location, you will also find loot, interactive traces, a fuse (needed for the Espresso Express puzzle), and a ladder leading to a room in the basement to explore.
