Sheathing weapons in Starfield

Sheathing weapons is possible at any moment of the game. If by accident you pull out a gun, or you want to holster it after a fight, all you need to do is:

1. hold down the R key (when playing on a keyboard);
2. hold down the X button (if you're playing on an Xbox controller).

How to draw a weapon?

You can draw the currently equipped weapon in several ways:

1. press the button responsible for aiming or shooting a weapon (right and left mouse button or triggers on the controller);

perform an attack with fists (the V key on the keyboard or right analog stick on the controller).
