In GreedFall, it is very important to gain experience points and develop your hero. In the game you have to choose the appropriate skill points, attributes and talents of the character. It's up to you to decide how you want to play your game. If you don't spend some skill points in, for example, handling firearms, then your character will not be able to shoot. The same applies to all other skills available in the game.

What can I develop?

In the game you can develop talents, attributes and skills. Each option has a different effect on your hero.

Talents

Every character available at Greedfall can develop their talents. They are divided into six trees: vigor, charisma, science, lockpicking, craftsmanship and intuition. Your choice will affect the hero, for example, thanks to craftsmanship you will be able to create weapons and upgrades on your own, without lockpicking you will not be able to get to many places, and charisma can save you from unnecessary fighting.

Skills

The skill tree is divided into six main development paths, each of which unlocks 3 more branches. It allows you to discover new skills and spells and enables your character to use weapons such as firearms.

Remember, the skill tree is very complicated. For example, if you want to get a two-handed weapon, you must first purchase the ability to wield a one-handed weapon. Then buy all the skills in this field to get to the heavy two-handed weapons.

Attributes

Every character available in Greedfall can also develop its attributes. They are divided into six trees: strength, agility, endurance, willpower, mental power and accuracy. They affect hero's stats (mana, health, armor) and his/her combat skills.

How to earn experience points?

Experience points are an important part of GreedFall and will allow you to advance to higher levels in order to develop your character.

Quests

The fastest way to earn experience points is to complete quests (main and side). For completing them you can get from a few hundred to a few thousand XP points.

Defeating enemies

In the game you can kill soldiers and monsters. Defeating each one of them will give you the right amount of experience points.

In addition, remember that you can also browse the opponent's pockets to get more items and money.

How many levels can I develop a skill?

If you enter the skill tree, talents or attributes tree you will see how much you are missing to the next point. This information is marked on the right side of the screen - we marked this place on the screenshot above.

How to reset skills?

To reset all of your hero's skills you need an item called Memory Crystal. With it, you can freely modify your character.
