The Book of Sin is the name of a plot item from Lords of the Fallen (2023). On this page of our guide, we show where to find the book (which will happen in Umbral) and whom to bring the obtained quest item.

Obtaining Book of Sin

1. Book of Sin is obtained in the course of completing a major puzzle involving an inactive elevator found in the Bellroom. The attached screenshot shows the location with the elevator and an NPC.
2. You must choose the left path, and along the way, switch between Umbral and Axiom. All of this is done to solve a complicated puzzle and we describe it in detail on the How to solve the puzzle in Hall of Bells? page in the FAQ.

1. Eventually, you'll reach an area where you need to switch to Umbral to reveal a bridge shown above.

1. In the bottom part of the location, you need to use Soulflay on the statue from screenshot 1. This action will result in the hero acquiring Book of Sin.

1. It is necessary to finish the elevator puzzle. Further along, you'll reach a locked pathway with an entity only seen in Umbral (screenshot). To open it, you'll need to use Soulflay a few times on nearby beings.
2. You will reach the elevator and you can ride it to return to the Bellroom and use the Vestige.

Delivering the book

1. You need to return to Skyrest, which is the hub area of the game.
2. At the location, talk to Exacter Dunmire who is found in one of the side areas. You can deliver the book to him. This action won't be rewarded in a traditional sense, but it will allow you to advance in Dunmire's storyline.
