How to make Nameless Puppet appear?

The Nameless Puppet appears near a Stargazer called Under the Abyss. You can get there by a elevator after defeating Simon Manus, Arm of God.

Important decision

You'll encounter Gepetto in the arena. After a short monologue, he will ask you to give your heart , thanks to which you will become a human. If you refuse , after Gepetto's outrage, you'll face the Nameless Puppet .

If you decide that this was a wrong decision, or you don't want to face the boss, you can return to the Under the Abyss Stargazer and choose give your heart option. This will lead to a different ending.

How to fight during Phase 1 of the Nameless Puppet encounter?

The Nameless Puppet often uses horizontal slashes in combat. What's more, it likes to attack two, three times in a row. This attacks are not that fast, so pay close attention to the moves of its sword. If the Nameless Puppet gets close to you, perform a dodge or a perfect block.

The boss often employs a 4-hit combo. You can expect it once its sword rubs against the floor. Press the block button once you see sparks. Next, the Nameless Puppet will raise its sword, and shortly after, strike with an overhand blow. The next attack will be launched a bit later, but be prepared then for two quick blocks.

When the boss jumps into the air and then lands, he will perform three quick slashes, so be prepared to block them . After this attack, you can strike the opponent.

Remember to hit a few times with quick attacks or one charged one after Nameless Puppet finishes its combinations. You may often cause the boss to be thrown off balance. When that happens, launch your attacks until the boss gets back on his feet.

The Nameless Puppet also has a 6-hit combination up his sleeve. The first two attacks appear right after another, while for the third one, you need to wait a moment.
