How to unlock: Reach Level 5.

How to unlock: Reach Level 10.

Elite

How to unlock: Reach Level 25.

Space Opera

How to unlock: Reach Level 50.

Reach for the Stars

How to unlock: Reach Level 100.

Comment: Level 100 is the highest in the game. On the How to earn XP quickly? We have posted recommended methods of gaining experience. These include completing quests, defeating enemies, or discovering new locations and planets.

How to unlock: Join Ryujin Industries.

Comment: Joining this factions and others is described on a separate Factions page.

Deputized

How to unlock: Join the Freestar Rangers.

Comment: Joining this factions and others is described on a separate Factions page.

One Small Step

How to unlock: Join Constellation.

Comment: Joining this factions and others is described on a separate Factions page. The Constellation is the only faction you have to join during the main story.

Rook Meets King

How to unlock: Join the Crimson Fleet.

Comment: The Crimson Fleet is a hidden faction and this makes it more problematic. We described how to find and join it in more detail on the page How to join the Crimson Fleet?.

Supra et Ultra

How to unlock: Join the UC Vanguard.

Comment: Joining this factions and others is described on a separate Factions page.

For All, Into the Starfield

How to unlock: Enter Space for the First Time.

Comment: You will get the achievement automatically during the prologue.

Home Sweet Home

How to unlock: Build an outpost.

Comment: You can choose any planet/moon to build an outpost.

Shipping Magnate

How to unlock: Connect 5 outposts using cargo links.

Comment: The first rank of the Outpost Management skill increases the number of cargo links. This might help you meet the achievement requirements.

I Use Them for Smuggling

How to unlock: Successfully Smuggle Contraband.

Comment: Finding contraband, as well as transporting it, hiding it from scanners and selling it is described on separate pages Where to sell contraband and How to hide contraband from a scanner?.

Chief Engineer

How to unlock: Modify a Ship.

Comment: There is a technician in every major location who offers various services related to the ship, including the option to modify it by installing new or improved components.

The technician from our picture is at the landing pad in New Atlantis, the location you will reach early in the game.

Fleet Commander

How to unlock: Collect 10 Ships.

Comment: You can buy new ships from technicians, take over them after a successful boarding, or receive as rewards, e.g. for completing the plot lines of individual factions.

Another Bug Hunt

How to unlock: Eliminate 300 Creatures.

Comment: A good way to kill enough creatures is during free exploration of the planets.

Boots on the Ground

How to unlock: Land on 100 Planets.

Comment: You can select any planets from any systems and land on them anywhere, not just at the markers.

The Stars My Destination

How to unlock: Visit all Star Systems.

Comment: All systems are shown on the galaxy map right away, but you will reach some of them only after upgrading your ship and increasing fuel supplies. This will allow you to make longer grav jumps.

Stellar Cartography

How to unlock: Visit 20 Star Systems.

Comment: Go to the description of The Stars My Destination achievement.

Cyber Jockey

How to unlock: Bypass 50 Digital Locks.

Comment: The lockpicking mini-game and its requirements are described on the Lockpicking page.

Dark Matter

How to unlock: Eliminate 300 Human Enemies.

Comment: This achievement can be obtained during a normal playthrough. You will encounter human enemies in quests or guarding outposts on planets.

Fixer

How to unlock: Complete 30 Activities.

Comment: Activities are small quests that can be started, for example, after talking to someone or overhearing other people. The game can then automatically add them to the journal (they have their own tab) and the information will appear in the top left corner of the screen.

Privateer

How to unlock: Complete 30 Terminal or Misc. Missions.

Comment: You can find mission boards in various parts of the world and the picture shows an example. Take any random assignments from them.

Industrialist

How to unlock: Produce 500 Total Resources from Outposts.

Comment: In addition to building an outpost, you must expand it enough to be able to produce (any) resources.

Jacked In

How to unlock: Access 50 Computers.

Comment: This is also related to the Cyber Jockey achievement. You can hack locked computers with the same Security skill - they have different security levels.

Life Begate Life

How to unlock: Gather 500 Organic Resources.

Comment: Use the hand scanner to locate interactive resource deposits.

Replicator

How to unlock: Craft 100 Items.

Comment: This achievement is related to crafting. Use any of the crafting stations (e.g. laboratory) and make any items, e.g. medicines or food.

Rock Collection

How to unlock: Gather 500 Inorganic Resources.

Comment: Use the hand scanner to locate interactive resource deposits.

Soldier of Fortune

How to unlock: Mod 50 weapons.

Comment: Use weapon workbenches. Choose any of the weapons you own and any of their modifications (preferably those that require common materials).

Thirst for Knowledge

How to unlock: Read 20 Skill Magazines.

Comment: Magazines are one of the collectibles. You can find them in quest locations (e.g. The Lodge in the example from the picture) or in the abandoned bases. There are many more magazines than the 20 required for the achievement.

War of Angels

How to unlock: Collect 20 Quantum Essence.

Comment: Essence is a resource dropped by Starborn. These are unique enemies that will start to appear after making enough progress in the main story - you can encounter them in main quests or near artifacts and temples hiding powers.

The Family You Choose

How to unlock: Recruit 10 Separate Companions.

Comment: Opportunities to get new companions appear primarily in main story missions. Recruitment dialogue options may appear during conversations (example in the picture).

Alternatively, you can also recruit people, e.g. in bars. We discussed this topic in more detail on the page How to recruit crew members?.

Starcrossed

How to unlock: Reach Maximum Relationship Level with a Companion.

Comment: Choose any companion from those available in the game, e.g. Sarah Morgan, who will join you in the main story. Choose dialogue options that are favorable to a given companion and keep talking with them until you unlock that companion's quest (In Memoriam in Sara's case). Completing it will bring you closer to fulfilling the achievement's requirements.
