Soon after acquiring your vehicle, you will stand at a crossroads and face a choice. Yasna can either follow orders to abort the research mission to save herself or defy orders and continue her task. On this page of the guide you will learn whether you should go to the landing zone to leave the planet or to the Alliance base and continue the mission.

Going to the landing zone
By taking the left road, Yasna will obey the Astrogator's order and head to the landing zone to leave the planet. After reaching the desert, Novik will lose control of the lander for unknown reasons, and the vehicle itself will crash and be destroyed.
When Yasna calms down, examine the damaged on-board robot - you can find it using the Tracker. Talk to the machine. Lastly, left with no other options, Yasna will go to the Alliance base to find another way to leave the planet or negotiate with the enemy.
Going to the Alliance base
By taking the right path, Yasna will disobey Astrogator's orders and go straight to the Alliance base to continue her mission. This will skip the sequence in the desert.
