During the course of Initiation in Alan Wake 2, you can make a short detour to obtain a Double-Barrelled Shotgun in the Dark Place. This is a powerful firearm which will make encounters with hostile creatures and more difficult opponents much easier. On this page of our guide, we show how to properly search the Mirror Peak Bar neighboring the Oceanview Hotel.
Mirror Peak Bar near Oceanview Hotel
- The shotgun is the final addition to Alan's arsenal and you have a chance of finding it during Initiation 5.
- In the mentioned chapter, the hero has to visit Mirror Peak Bar. This place is located near the entrance to Oceanview Hotel and you have to visit it while attempting to find the door combination for the hotel entrance door. The Shotgun can be found before solving this puzzle.
Where to find the Shotgun?
- After entering the bar, place yourself in the area from the screenshot - you can see the hanger with the shotgun from here.
- You'll also notice a solid white interaction icon here and this means an opportunity to use the angel lamp.
- Activating the lamp will change the layout of the bar and unlock the area behind the counter.
- Once behind the counter, use the Angel Lamp again.
- The bar's layout will revert back to normal, but from here, you can take the Shotgun off the hanger.
- The Double-Barrelled Shotgun takes 4 slots in the inventory. In case you don't have the space, remove some unneeded items or return to the closest Break Room.
