What is Player Fitness?

In EA Sports FC 24, Player Fitness is determined by a number, on a scale from 1 (very low Fitness) to 99 points (perfect fitness). During matches, in the bottom corner of the screen, you can find controlled player's fitness indicator:

  1. Blue color: affected negatively with physical exertion, e.g. sprinting, fighting for the ball etc. and regenerated when the player reduces effort. When the indicator turns red, it means that the player is exhausted and may easily lose the ball or fail to keep up with the pass.
  2. White: shows the level to which player's fitness will come back when he reduces effort.

It is worth noting that Player Fitness gradually depletes as the match progresses, so consider replacing players of lower fitness in the course of the match.

Factors in Player Fitness

In EA FC 24, there are numerous factors that affects Player Fitness:

  1. Time on the pitch - player's fitness and exertion is proportional to the time he spends on the pitch. For example, if he plays intensely for 45 minutes, his Fitness will drop by a half.
  2. Effort: Players will get tired as they perform various activities such as running, sprinting, fighting for the ball, etc.
  3. Stamina: Players' stamina levels vary, meaning some players will be able to play the full 90 minutes at a high level of effort, while others will need to be replaced early in the second half of the match.
  4. Injuries: Injuries affect player fitness.
  5. Work rates: if a player has high work rates in attack and defense, he will tire more quickly than a player with lower work rates.

Please note that although players may regain some stamina after 45 minutes of play, they will never reach their maximum stamina level.
