Barren Swamp is a location full of dangerous puppets, but they are not the only threat encountered here. The Owl Doctor is a human that is found in one of the huts. If you go out of your way to visit him, after a short conversation, combat will be initiated. On this page of our Lies of P guide we show how to win against this optional boss.
Where to find Owl Doctor?
After leaving the cave that led you to Barren Swamp, turn left. You should encounter a path leading up that will lead you to a hut. Use the nearby ladder to enter this cramped area. Owl Doctor is found there.
How to win against Owl Doctor?
For this fight, a good idea would be to equip Aegis legion arm. Owl Doctor makes use of a number of combos, launching them even when you are at a distance from him. Thanks to Aegis, with successful blocks, you'll deal additional damage.
Owl Doctor is easily attacked from behind and these attacks will deal a lot of damage. The easiest way of getting behind him, is dodging when he attacks.
If you are at a distance from the doctor, and use a Pulse Cell or any other consumable, he will most likely throw a dagger at you. Sometimes, this attack is signalized in advance with an animation where the boss tosses the weapon - after he catches it, the projectile is sent your way. When it comes to combat tactics, we recommend perfect blocks to charge groggy bar.
This is all when it comes to enemy attacks. He has one Fury attack, albeit it has small range and is performed after a standard combo. Treat him like a typical human adversary and you will quickly kill him.
