On this page of the guide, we explain whether Starfield is available in GeForce Now and, if so, how to play it in the cloud.

Starfield - playing on GFN

Starfield is available in GeForce Now. This means you can play this title in the cloud on PC with Windows or Mac OS, mobile devices with Android or iOS, Smart TVs, and other streaming devices like Shield TV.

If you want to play Starfield on your PC in GFN, you must:

  1. launch GFN in a browser or install the app (available for download from the GeForce Now website);
  2. Log in using NVIDIA, Google, Discord, Apple or Facebook account.

Once you are logged in, select Starfield from the list of available games - you can search for it by name.

  1. Choose the platform on which you own the game. You must have it on your Steam or Xbox account. You can also play Starfield in GFN if you have an active PC Game Pass subscription.
  2. Choose "Play".
  3. Next, a server and/or queue search screen will be displayed (depending on your subscription plan).
  4. In the end, you will see a login screen for the platform you selected earlier. After logging in, you can play Starfield.

Remember that to play any title in GeForce Now, a good and stable internet connection is required. Nvidia states that at least 15 Mbps is required for 720p gameplay at 60 fps and 25 Mbps for 1080p gameplay at 60 fps. You can test your connection in the GFN app settings.

GFN plans

The GeForce Now service has several subscription plans. The free offer provides access to hourly sessions. During the game, you will be informed about how much time you have left. However, the number of sessions during the day is unlimited, so after returning to the menu, you can start the game again.However, with the free plan you will have to wait in queue every time.

You can upgrade your subscription and enjoy certain bonuses. There are two paid GFN plans.

  1. Priority Plan - $9.99 per month. Thanks to it, you have access to the RTX technology, 1080p resolution, 60 fps gameplay, and priority access to premium servers. One session lasts 6 hours.
  2. Ultimate Plan - $19.99 per month. It provides access to the RTX technology, 4K resolution, 120 fps gameplay, and exclusive access to RTX 4080 servers. One session lasts 8 hours.
