Lords of the Fallen is a soulslike game in which you will have to fight many very demanding battle against dangerous opponents and explore a dark world. Hexworks studio, a branch of the Polish company CI Games, is responsible for the game. The game will debut on October 13, 2023 on PC, PS5 and XSX. Lords of the Fallen will not appear on Game Pass on release day, or probably anytime soon. It is possible that this will happen in the future, but nothing has been announced so far. So if you want to play Lords of the Fallen, you have to buy it on PC, PS5 or XSX.
What is Lords of the Fallen?
Lords of the Fallen has the same title as the 2014 game. It is both a sequel and a reboot of the series. The game takes place a thousand years after the events of the 2014 game, but it is not necessary to know its story if you plan to play Lords of the Fallen from 2023.
The previous installment received a lot of favorable opinions from the players, but there were voices that the combat was a bit too slow, although this is of course a subjective matter. In the reboot, many mechanics are to be improved and, apart from the new story, which the game will put much more emphasis on, the gameplay itself is also to be more satisfying and the world even darker.
Whether this really turns out to be the case, we will find out on October 23 at the earliest, when the game launches. However, you can pre-order it now. The game is available in two editions - standard version and Deluxe Edition, in which, apart from the game itself, you will receive :

- 3D Model Viewer - enables you to view all characters available in the game in high resolution and rich details.
Who is Lords of the Fallen for?
Lords of the Fallen is a game that should satisfy primarily fans of the Dark Souls series. All because of the high level of difficulty, demanding combat and the need to carefully observe the enemies during the fight. The game may also appeal to people who liked the previous version from 2014. If you've never played a soulslike game, it's worth giving Lords of the Fallen a chance to find out why this type of games has gained such a large group of fans.
