The House of Wisdom is a home to the best scholars of the Caliphate. Some players may have noticed that the chamber in the highest tower of the institution hides a chest containing valuable treasure. However, reaching it involves a series of conditions that have to be met before getting to the treasure.

Where is the House of Wisdom chest located?

Stand on the House of Wisdom courtyard and activate Eagle Vision. If you direct your camera to the highest tower of the facility, you should notice a golden aura found somewhere near the top of the structure. This is the location of the chest we are interested in.

To reach it, start by climbing to the top of the tower. We recommend choosing the right wall for the approach, as at the top on this side there is a large vegetation area where you can easily hide. The upper floors of the tower are a restricted area and are patrolled by hostile guards . You can eliminate the group guarding the tower by e.g. whistling to attract individual guards and eliminating them one by one.

Once it is safe to wander freely, go to the corridor with a door leading to the astronomy workshop. These will unfortunately turn out to be locked. However, there is a tip in the note hanging on the wall opposite the door. You will learn from it that the sought key is most likely carried by the resident astronomer of the university.

Where to find the Astronomical Library Key?

The mentioned scholar can be found on the roof of the right wing of the building (looking from the entrance). You'll easily locate him with your eagle - he is wearing a robe and stands at the apparatus used to study the sky. The location where you find him is also a restricted zone, so exercise some caution before approaching the astronomer. The easiest option here would be to reach him by keeping to the roof or its ledge.

The scholar, busy with his research, won't notice Basim's presence. To steal his key, simply approach the man and pickpocket him. After successfully completing the QTE, the key will switch hands. However, before you return to the workshop, you still need to do one more thing.

How to destroy the ceiling barrier?

Entering the astrology workshop is not the end of the matter, as the chest is on a different floor, and the way in is behind a reinforced barrier on the ceiling. To clear the way, go to the very top of the tower (watch out, there is a pair of enemies guarding the terrace).

Locate a window through which you can see a hanging chandelier. Your task is to throw a knife to cut the rope on which the chandelier hangs. For assistance, you can activate Eagle Vision here which will highlight the vulnerable area of the rope. The cut chandelier will fall down and destroy the ceiling barrier blocking the way. You can now enter the workshop and collect the treasure.

How to find the chest?

Return to the corridor with the locked door and use the newly obtained key to open it. Inside the room, go one floor up through the already uncluttered hole in the ceiling. The gilded chest contains Abbasid Knight Sword.
