ARK: Survival Ascended is a remake of ARK: Survival Evolved, which includes all the content of the basic version of the game, expansions and adds many non-canonical maps. What's more, the title has been ported to the new Unreal Engine 5. The production is available as part of early access, which means it is still incomplete, and you may encounter a number of strange bugs and technical issues. Two of them we will describe in our guide. Learn how to change the language in ARK: Survival Ascended and how to fix RTX.

How to change language in ARK Survival Ascended? Fix your RTX issue

Some players who want to change the language to English in ARK Survival Ascended may encounter a big problem. Mainly because the title does not offer an option to change it in-game! Perhaps in the future this will be added, although at the moment it is impossible from within the title.

Many players, despite having RTX graphics cards, do not have RTX menus. The reason for these problems is precisely the fact that the game is launched on a language other than English. If you want to have these options, follow the below solution.

The easiest way to change the ARK Survival Ascended language is to enter the game's properties via the Steam platform and add special command. To do so, follow our steps:

  1. Find ARK Survival Ascended in your library,
  2. Right-click on the game and select Properties,
  3. In the General tab, at the bottom, you will find Launch Options and a field to enter text,
  4. Type the command: -culture=en.

With this solution, the game should be launched in English.
