Sunkenland is a fresh survival game that transports players to a mostly submerged world. As in most of the games in this genre, in order to flourish, you must collect a range of resources and progressively construct more advanced structures. At a certain stage, acquiring steel becomes necessary, if you want to prepare for new challenges. In this guide we will tell you how to do that.

How to get steel in Sunkenland

  1. To get steel, you have to learn how to obtain iron ingots. Luckily, we have explained that already in the separate article, so you can read it there. However, it is not the end of the process.
  2. You will also need some coal, as it is higher level fuel. You can get this resource thanks to using furnace and cooking.
  3. Last, but not least, you have to upgrade your research table to 4 level. Once you do it, you will be able to research and build a steel furnace.
  4. When you finish above steps, you can put iron and coal to the furnace and wait for your steel ingots.

Of course, remember that the game is in early access, so the process of obtaining steel may be changed slightly in the future and this article may become outdated. Observe patch notes and updates, as the game will be in EA around a year.
