After the big Patch 4 for Baldur's Gate III (on Steam, the update "weighed" about 19 GB) and the hotfix released immediately after it, Larian Studios has released another minor update. It introduces to the game just nine fixes - their list can be found below - and for now it is available only on PS5 and Windows PC (the macOS version needs additional testing and will be released at a later date).

Baldur's Gate 3 - changes introduced by "hotfix" 10

  1. Fixed a bug whereby Shadowheart would not follow the party.
  2. The sliders that determine the intensity of tattoos and eye makeup now work correctly on the controller.
  3. A bug displaying the "DEVICE_LOST" message that occurred after minimizing the game window in the version using the Vulkan API has been eliminated.
  4. Astarion's lines have been correctly synchronized with their corresponding subtitles.
  5. The player's team will no longer burn - literally - in the nursery scene (the one with Vlaakith).
  6. Fixed a bug that caused the texture of the shoes of male barbarian dwarves to be missing, making them "look like big berries."
  7. The waypoint menu now opens correctly when navigating to it from a character card using the controller.
  8. A glitch has been eliminated by which various types of items were always classified as commodities when collected, if they were picked up in such a way even once.
  9. Enemies located on the lower floors of the Ramazith Tower will no longer limp when trying to join a fight taking place on a higher floor.

It is worth recalling that by the end of 2023 Baldur's Gate III is to be released on Xbox Series X and S - recently there emerged reports that this is to happen on December 6. That version of the game was delayed because Larian Studios had a problem optimizing the game's split-screen co-op mode on Microsoft's weaker console. However, it seems that with the recent breakthrough the Belgian developer will be able to improve the game's performance on all platforms.
