Starfield: On the Run - walkthrough Starfield guide, tips

On the Run is a mission for the Freestar Rangers faction, in which you must track down Marco Graziani. The walkthrough from our guide to Starfield explains how to get another encrypted tablet and how to complete the run through the Red Mile.

You will unlock the On the Run quest after completing the mission Shadows in Neon for the Freestar Collective fraction. On this guide page, you will find out how to get information from Mei Devine, how to run through the Red Mile, and how to confront Marco Graziani.

Meeting with Autumn MacMillan

1. Travel to the planet Porrima III in the Porrima System. Land in the Red Mile.
2. After leaving the ship, head straight to the building marked as Red Mile. Autumn MacMillan is sitting at the bar in the main room - talk to her.
3. The woman will take you to her contact. Sit in a chair and conduct another conversation.

Run Through the Red Mile

1. Now find a woman named Mei Devine - she should be hanging around the bar.
2. Mei will give you the necessary information if you run the Red Mile - the challenge is about traveling through a wasteland filled with enemies. You have to agree.
3. Listen to Mei's introduction. When she finishes her speech, go through the door on the left.

1. Prepare well for the race - you will face many opponents during it. It's worth using the Weapon Workbench to create a better weapon and a Spacesuit Workbench. Both benches are in front of the entrance to the elevator leading to the Red Mile's start.
2. Down below the Mauler will attack you. Although they deal small damage and their attacks are easy to avoid, they can be a challenge when operating in larger groups. Apart from that, they have many HP.
3. You must go through the entire wasteland (where missiles are fired) and reach the tower. When you get there, activate the transmitter.
4. Go back the same way to Mei. As you run back, watch out for the missiles and the remaining Maulers.

Confrontation with Marco Graziani

1. Talk to Mei and then to Autumn.
2. Return to Mei - she will give you information about Marco Graziani's location.
3. Now travel to Codos, a moon of the planet Akila in the Cheyenne System.
4. Find Marco on the ship Fortuna. You can agree to his proposal and avoid the fight. However, if you decide to stand your ground and attack the man, you face a difficult battle. Marco has a high level, and his people will attack you.
5. If you and Graziani have reached an agreement, you will receive the slate immediately. Otherwise, you will find it on the man's corpse.

Return to Alex

1. Return to Akila (Cheyenne System) to The Rock and pass the next Slate to Alex Shadid.
2. This way you will complete the task On the Run You will receive XP and 9,300 credits.

After completing the tasks On the Run and Surgical Strik, you will unlock the next one: First to Fight, First to Die.
