Runaway Seahorses is a group of 4 seahorses you need to find to complete one of the quests available in the village of sea people. The animals cannot be caught using conventional methods, but there is a fairly simple way to catch them, about which you will read below.
How to get a bug net?
The Bug Net is one of the items you will receive for the Reticent Girl quest from client Maki in chapter 2. The girl wants a dish composed of:
- White Trevally fish;
- kelp;
- soy sauce.
After gathering the ingredients and fulfilling the client's wish, Maki will reward you with a bug net, which will help you in catching delicate sea horses.
How to catch Runaway Seahorses?
The quest of collecting seahorses is received in Game Parlor, one of the buildings of the sea people's village. A woman named Linchen will ask you to catch 4 fishes scattered throughout the village.
To catch fish, all you have to do is swim up to them, and then press SPACE. Dave will use his bug net to catch the little animal.
- Giraffe Seahorse is located in the central part of the lower level of the village, between the portal and the mirror.
- Hedgehog Seahorse swims a bit to the left of its companion, to the left of the restaurant building.
- Dwarf Seahorse is found in the Seed Shop building.
- The last fish, Crowned Seahorse, is located in the upper part of the city, which you will reach through the portal. The seahorse is swimming around in the hall of a building named Tenzhin's House (to the right of the portal).
After gathering everyone, return to Linchen and give her the seahorses. You need to complete this quest if you want to participate in seahorse races later in the game.
